For the desert, Fruita is incredibly green. Year-round riding on a beautiful plateau makes Fruita a prime destination for mountain bikers. It is surprisingly uncrowded for such an amazing hiking and biking area.

Kokopelli's Trail

This trail runs for 145 miles and is ideal for jeep, as well as hiking and biking enthusiasts.

Dinosaur Journey Museum

The City of Fruita is filled with dinosaurs and has become a renowned paleontological center. Fun, facts and opportunities are available for dinosaur lovers of all ages. Dinosaur Journey is located about 9 miles west of Grand Junction, CO, off I-70, exit 19.

Colorado National Monument

23,000 acres of amazing scenery sets the backdrop for your visit to Grand Junction. You will find legendary hiking in the sandstone rock formations, arches, and canyons that date back over l.5 billion years. Drive 23 miles along the serpentine Rim Rock Road. Thursday Night Variety Show
